It snowed all morning and then rained (a cold rain) all afternoon.  This afternoon I got into the car and turned it on and then got out to clear snow off the car.   After a few minutes I had finished and went to get back into the car, but the door was locked!  I took the extra key out of my pocket and pressed the unlock button but nothing happened after several attempts.  I put the key into the lock on the door and tried to unlock the car but the key would not turn.  I then opened the trunk and climbed halfway in and managed to push down the seatback of the back seat, and then I could reach into the car and open a back door.  Then I got out of the trunk and with the back door of the car open I was able to get the front door to open so that I could get in and turn the car off.  Maybe a wire had gotten wet.  I’ll try the keys tomorrow and see what happens.
